For midweek dawn patrols, all-night approaches, or just big climbing objectives that push beyond daylight, the Black Diamond Spot 350 has 350 lumens of power, now housed in a smaller, more efficient design. With a new, compact body, the Spot 350 has been redesigned with a lower profile for better balance and is more ergonomic for added comfort. We've also updated the user interface by adding a second switch for easy lens mode selection. In addition, the updated optical efficiency not only provides brighter light with more peak intensity, but also saves battery life that you can now easily track with a six-setting, three-LED battery meter. The Spot 350 also offers peripheral lighting for close-range activities like sorting gear, cooking, or reading in camp and it sports an IPX8 waterproof housing. The Brightness Memory feature allows you to turn the light on and off at a chosen brightness without reverting back to a default setting. Plus, the Spot 350's PowerTap Technology makes for instant brightness adjustment settings.

    Lightweight and versatile

    Light and comfortable for extended wear, with excellent spot/flood/red light versatility for whatever task is at hand. I bought it for the backcountry and love it for that purpose, and I’ve since found it to be just the thing I need for various automotive and home repair tasks.

    Small, light, and and it gives ample illumination. I carry this in my backcountry pack in case I get caught out overnight or need an alpine start to reach the objective. I also use it for predawn hunting approaches

    I appreciate its ease of use without looking at the buttons. For its brightness, it is very small and light. I’ve got one in each of my cars, tool box, and hunting kit. I even lost one duck hunting in a swamp, when they drained it, I went back, found it dried it and cleaned it and it still works.

    Great product. Super bright, easy to use. I was surprise as how small and how bright this product is. I use it for back packing and camping. It works amazing. But be careful it is super bright at is highest mode and can be blinding to others around. But it gives you the ability cycle through different levels and find the perfect amount of light for your situation.

    Saved my life, twice!

    As a missionary, I got stuck in a country experiencing ongoing unrest. After the power went out, and the gunfire started, we relied on two Spot headlamps to get our group out! On the second occasion, 75 miles into a river trip, we experienced a pop up severe storm that required another leader and I to separate from the group. We ended up back on the water at night in the storm, and wouldn’t you know what guided us safely home?!?! The good ol’ Spot. Through wind, rain, submersion, fighting, power outages, funnel clouds… or just taking your trash out at night, this lamp is the BEST!

    This has been my go-to headlamps for several years now. It's always performed and I enjoy the lock-out feature so you don't drain your batteries en route. I prefer replaceable batteries for the flexibility - any C-Store in the middle of nowhere USA will have batteries for purchase.
