    The Stone 45 replaced an older Dakine daypack that I was using when caving. The Dakine was loose and sloppy, and the fabric was a sponge for water and mud when I'm climbing underground. The BD pack is super comfortable, and the side zip for getting to gear quickly is genius!

    Perfect Climbing Pack

    I carry a ton of stuff when I trad climb, so usually go with my Creek 50 for a "typical" day, but I wanted something smaller for sport climbing and for when I travel to climb. The Stone 45 was perfect for a recent nine day climbing road trip. It ate up my double rack, 2.5 liters of water, food and other misc. items. I could have even carried the rope coiled under the hood with it's compression strap, but the rope was my partner's job! It fit close to my body and worked well when I had to scramble a bit of fourth class at one of the crags. Really happy that I bought this and highly recommend!

    One big pocket fits everything you need for a day at the crag. Pockets in the hat fit snacks and water for easy access.

    Low key looking, high quality backpack!

    I love the bag, stripped down backpack capable of holding items for a 1-3 night hike. Comfortable S/M size worked well for a petite person with a 16.5” torso. High quality well made, look forward to being able to use for many seasons. The only issue is the smell, the product had a strong fabric softener like smell that I find nauseating and very difficult to remove.

    Yes, I recommend this product.
