Nice headlamp

I bought this to replace an aging headlamp from my pack. This works very well. Also very useful in power outages and walking the dog at night, especially in rainy weather.

Awesome Headlamp!!

Awesome headlight! Really enjoy all the features. Especially love that it is submersible up to 1 m. ! I purchased the storm 450 and can’t wait to try it out in the hiking in the back country of Montana. Tommy F

Amazing Headlamp

I’ve used it on several early morning hikes and man this thing works great. I has great lighting modes and very easy to operate. Another great plus is the head strap, very smooth to adjust unlike other brands. Also, very comfortable elastic on the headband as well. Great job!

Fussy and Prone to Failure.

I had high hopes for my Storm 450, but almost immediately it started exhibiting frustratingly strange behavior. The "Power Touch" sensor on the side of the light was difficult to actuate when wanted. However, it was prone to activating on and off continuously for no reason when it was not wanted. Eventually the light itself would not operate correctly at all. When I put new batteries in, only the small white and RGB lights would operate for a few seconds then die completely. I definitely did not get my money's worth and now own a very expensive bit of toxic landfill.

Good, but turns on in your pack

This headlamp has been amazing for me, with one decent issue. I have opened my pack just find it turned on, or other times I've pulled it out to use just to find the battery life depleted or dead. (From turning itself on in the pack). I am a little surprised/disappointed it happens as much as it has regarding the size and nature of its power button. I highly recommend any potential buyers pack ample extra batteries alongside this headlamp, especially if you will rely on it. In all other regards, I have been very satisfied with it. It's performance and brightness is very good, it shines bright and seems to have amazing battery life. (When not being on inside a pack) The different modes are great. I personally like the battery cover latch, I have an older black diamond headlamp with the older style latch which I didn't care for. The latch is much easier and faster to change out batteries, which did simplify battery changes.

Great headlamp!

Lots of options for brightness and a few different color options I also bought the battery pack which is nice to not worry about using batteries. Very happy with my purchase.
