I'm realllly into not having a zipper and button style pant! The waist band is so comfortable and stays snug enough to keep things in the right position even after multiple days of wearing them. I love the apline light pants and this pair is no different. They stood up to hiking, scrambling, and camping so far. For reference I've had my other pair for at least 5 years and they are still going strong! Nice light material but also abrasion resistent.
