    Product Details

With a huge range of adjustment with a women’s specific, durable design, the women’s Trail Pro is a reliable, high-performance pole for everything from day hikes in the Adirondacks to multi-day treks in Nepal. The pole’s redesigned FlickLock Pro adjustability is now lighter, stronger, and easier to use, while featuring a more durable, aluminum construction, making for fast, secure and easy adjustments to suit the terrain. This adjustability is combined with our new SmashLock quick release technology, which is a quick-release mechanism that allows you to quickly deploy the telescoping pole and lock it into place with an easy-to-hear click (keep FlickLock Pro closed during deployment). Then, with the FlickLock Pro open, swiflty and firmly press the tip of the pole into the trail to release the SmashLock for a quick collapse. The Trail Pro’s updated grip is now softer and more ergonomic while the strap draws inspiration from our harness technology and includes more surface area for better security around the wrist and better handling when tackling steep terrain. Interchangeable carbide tech tips grip a variety of trail surfaces, from desert slickrock to tacky dirt.

    • Women's-specific soft-rubber grip with solution strap for added security and better handling

    • SmashLock quick Release technology for quick deployment and collapsibility and added durability

    • New FlickLock Pro adjustability—now featuring aluminum construction that’s lighter and easier to use

    • Interchangeable carbide Tech Tips, 38mm Trekking Basket

I went on a winter camping trip and we had a major snow storm that resulted in me not being able to get home with my vehicle. I happened to have my trek poles and some snow shoes and I ended up snow shoeing to get home to my son and dogs. These worked out great!! There was up to 3 feet drifts in places and these poles helped me keep stable while snow shoeing. Absolutely love these poles!!

really like the feel of when it hits the ground . have brought it to 3 moderate level hikes. used it and have been pleased with the feel in mud and in normal weather, some snow on rock and gravel, no ice yet. has been sturdy. more for just protecting joints, not for any real support. however, seems good. really enjoy the finish and colour schemes on the poles. thanks

I bought these poles for my thru hike of the 273 mile, rugged, Vermont Long Trail. Prior to settling on these I used a pair of Leki poles with suspension, the suspension version of this pole, and looked carefully at many other poles in the stores. I am very happy that I settled of these poles! I am 5’6” and the women’s version is plenty long enough for me. On mixed or flat terrain I have them set to 105 CM. Because there is only a single, quick-to-use length adjustment clamp on each pole, I will change my length to 110 for a regular descent, 115 for a steep descent, 100 for a climb, and I’ve gone down to 95 on crazy steep sections. The clamps are not only quick, but very secure and I have not ever had to adjust them not has it ever slipped! It hot, I’m working very hard, I sweat a lot, and I’ve hiked in downpours, so grips were important to me. I know everyone said cork is the best, but I disagree after using these poles. The grips and wrist straps are very comfortable, supportive, and are relatively hydrophobic and have never felt wet or slippery. I did find that the wrist straps were a little stiff at first which will break in with use, but I sped up that process by just manually flexing it with my ha day prior to use. I do not miss the suspension for my terrain. Maybe I might on all rock or pavement, maybe. But without the suspension it felt more sturdy, it’s lighter, and there is one less thing to fail or wear. And I did do a 12+ mile hike with a suspension version in one hand and a non-suspension version in the other and at the end the arm with suspension had much more fatigue, I think bc it felt less stable and I was pushing in more to make it feel more secure. I also really like the quick deployment and stowing with these poles with their lower fixed length and single length adjustment clamp. The only slight negative with the lower locking section is that it will sometimes make a tiny bit of noise when the tip gets stuck in the dirt and the lower section briefly hyperextends and then goes back its normal position. But this is minor, doesn’t affect function, and only happens occasionally. Bottom line, the length is perfect for me, these are stable poles with a very stable and wide wrist strap, simple, fast, secure adjustments, and they are holding up well with heavy use and despite a few falls remain perfectly straight and stable with only a few scratches to show.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Bought these for snow approaches this winter and spring, when I don't want to have a shock on the pole. I want something stiff to self arrest with, and that is light, sturdy, and easy to adjust. The handle is ergonomic, soft, comfortable, and doesn't make my hands sweat. I haven't used these poles for my intended purpose, but I have used them to carry gear to the base of climbs and so far, I'm impressed. I am looking forward to the assurance and security I will feel using these poles in tricky situations.

I just bought these to replace my old Black Diamond poles that were bent and no longer collapsed...I love this new ladies version and the changes made are great...especially the “lever” that releases to shorten or lengthen and the new handle style!

    Yes, I recommend this product.
