Bought these because they were under $100 and looked great. I usually wear 6.5 for shoes and wanted to order a 7, but it wasn’t available, so I went with a 6 and ordered online without trying them on. With thick socks, the fit is good but slightly snug. I tried wearing two pairs of socks while skating and that was too tight, so one pair is definitely the way to go. Overall, happy with the fit and purchase.

Excellent build quality

The build quality of this is excellent. Despite wearing thinner socks, my feet stayed warm outside in -20C weather as well. I really appreciate having options in black, this looks visually very elegant.

Great skates!

I love these skates, truly, they are perfect for recreational skating. These replace my 35+ year old skates I bought in high school from CT. I was overdue and was amazed at the updates they have made in comfort. I have wide feet, and sized up to wear a heavier sock - helps keep my feet warm and toasty - a nice change from the old cold leather skates. They are nicely lined and are comfortable and supportive. Perfect for skating with the family. I like the option to get black skates - nice change from standard white figure skate. My only complaint is that the sole is not very cushioning, so I think I will add an insole to get the comfort I am looking for.

Never Received

Never received. I was supposed to receive these by Dec 10, but they were "delayed" in the mail (Purolator) indefinitely, and nearly 3 weeks later, there's still no updates or information. I've reached out to customer service (both Sport Chek amd Purolator) to no avail. I'm not sure what to do at this point, but I feel scammed.
