Beast Roars

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Many, MANY years ago, I was at the Runner's Edge, a small sporting goods store that specializes in running and tennis gear. I'm flat footed so I needed a shoe with a decent arch and could withstand a lot of wear. They recommended the Beast from Brooks. I cannot remember the first year I brought them, but I've purchased two pairs a year ever since. They are not the lightest shoe Brooks sells, but I'll bet them have the longest life. A great shoe if you are looking for durability and need a comfortable arch. I highly recommend them.

My New Go To Shoe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been wearing another name brand tennis shoe for several years and my feet were always hurting! A friend suggested I give Brooks a try. I ordered the Beast GTS 24 because of a recommendation from a survey I did online at Brooks. From day one of wearing them, my feet feel so much better! In fact I turned around and ordered a second pair in another color! I’m very pleased with the style, look and comfort of my Beast GTS 24.

The right shoe for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been buying Brooks running shoes for years now. The first pair I bought were the perfect shoe and since I didn't buy them from this site, I can't remember which ones they were. I've had the Adrenaline, the Ghost....and while they were OK, I just started my first return for the Adrenaline. I refuse to compromise at this point. I saw the Beast GTS and though I'd give them a try. I was initially concerned by the weight, which is the opposite of what I thought I wanted. I thought I wanted a lightweight shoe, but I think I just needed a better shoe. I've had this shoe now for 3 x weeks and I think I found my winner. No foot pain, even when breaking them in. I feel like the heel is slightly elevated which feels like it supports my forward movement. I think my only real gripe is that I typically order wide shoes and I think this one might be too wide in front. Not a big enough of an issue to return. My next set, I'll order a regular size.
