Enhanced adaptability: New midsole and outsole construction lets the shoe mold easily to the ground, improving the stable ride.
Softer cushioning: New DNA LOFT v2 midsole makes this Cascadia 10% softer and 20% lighter than previous versions.
Flexible protection: Updated Ballistic Rock Shield protects against pebbles and rocks while also adapting more easily to uneven terrain.

Super trail runner shoe !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fantastic shoe - excellent durability on the upper as well as long tread life. I have over 700 mi. on each of 3 pairs. Laces grip and stay tied. Nice tuckable loop on the tongue for the laces. Excellent placement of a loop on the upper at the heel for securing then to a back. Excellent drying when wet. More than Adequate toe box- not too wide or narrow. Fits very true to size. Overall 5 stars for sure!!!

Good to go, but...

So let's start with the positive. I user this to climb Camelback Mt Cholla in AZ. I made it to the top and made it back down. Great shoe, the only issue I have the fabric pulled away from the inside of the shoe. Almost like it ripped. I usually get a lot compliments on my Brooks, not one. I love Brooks. I'm not sure how long these will last.

This is my first pair of Brooks shoes. I like the fit they feel very well made and durable. I run on pea gravel and they grip real well. I will probable buy a pair of running shoes too.
