Brooks Men's Hyperion Elite 5 Running Shoes

Got these for a 10 mile race and did a workout in them at my usual 3:55/km threshold. Got through a 19km workout feeling far faster than expected. They are super comfortable and bouncy while still feeling pretty stable. I'd definitely recommend them. No complaints at all. Another great shoe from Brooks.

Out on the road, they’re genuinely fun to run in. The combination of lightweight construction and responsive foam gives each stride a smooth, springy feel. I’ve noticed a measurable performance boost as well—my pace has improved by about 10 to 15 seconds per mile, which is something I could feel even on the very first run. Overall, the Hyperion Elite 5 delivers a great mix of comfort, speed, and energy return. If you’re looking for a shoe that makes your training runs feel easier and your faster efforts feel more efficient, this is a pair worth trying.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I stumbled upon these searching for a more comfortable running shoe. I'm not a marathon runner, but I run 5 days a week indoors at Orange theory. I've always worn the glycerin and actually didn't know about the hyperion elite line. I tried the sample one on at the store while waiting for my shoes to come out and as soon as I walked a few steps I was sold! This shoe feels like walking on a cloud, and is extremely light weight. I have been wearing them for a week now and my running speed has increased, and I actually look forward to my workouts. This shoe makes me feel like I am bouncing when I walk and run. They also feel great on the floor exercises. I was worried about stability because I normally need support to prevent supination but I haven't had any problems thus far. The only thing that is annoying is the squeaking sound they make when I'm walking, but plenty of shoes do that so it's a minor inconvenience I'm willing to live with. I plan to buy these shoes again soon so that I have an extra pair on hand just in case. They are fabulous!!!
