Brooks Men's Hyperion Elite 5 Running Shoes

Went to the Pinellas Trail Challenge ULTRA on 8/30/25. I ran comfortably 38 miles for up to 8 hours in the Brooks Elite. My times improved... it was comfortable. No issues. I tightened the laces to the last loop with no issues of them getting loose or un-tying during my pushes. I would attribute all the right choices with crew and this shoe to help me be 8th on the top 10 female finishers out of 250 entrants and 35th overall. I would recommend this shoe when looking into plates and comfortable running shoes for marathons and ultra's.

My feet feels like they are flying, I can go faster than I was going without much effort, I'm loving them!!!

Awesome neutral shoe. Comfortable and great for long runs. The carbon plate gives extra push and pace throughout the run. I highly recommend this shoes for long runners and marathoners!

Just finished 18km test run yesterday. This shoe fits my feet perfectly, and I didn’t feel any friction on the tips of my big or second toes, nor on the outer side near my little toe, Kudos to Brooks. This shoe is very fast and still very stable, I like that the cushion is "not too soft" and comfortable at the same time. Good amount of bounce when toe-off. Outsole looks pretty durable too (unlike some other super shoes). I am going to run Sydney Marathon in them this Sunday!!!

It’s in my top 2 speed workout and 5 & 10K race shoes. Fit is perfect. True to size. Rolls through the stride with ease and has great bounce. A very fast shoe that’s easy on your feet, thanks to the foam. I love them.

Very Cool and Good Shoe but what about the fast Big Guys. I need a 15 or 14.5 (Sad Face) I am currently training in the Ghost Max.

Used for my first IM 70.3. Very comfortable fast shoe. Will use for all races going forward for distances up to marathon.

First these are sharp looking shoes, I am excited to put them on my feet just looking at them. Weight is great. Comfort is excellent. I have only worn them for an interval workout of 8 dock dashes with 2 mins recovery. This is about a 44 sec hard run. On the intervals the shoes are fantastic, great energy return, solid cushioning, very smooth and easy to run at high cadence. The shoes enable a run that is faster with less effort. The only weakness I see in the shoe, which is more about me than the shoe, is stability especially at slow pace in recovery sections. It's a race shoe and so I don't expect stability at slow pace, I am just sharing that feedback. I am looking forward to finding a nice flat 5K to try them on.
