Brooks Women's Ghost Max 2 Running Shoes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the support. As an older, avid walker I appreciate the cushion and the stability of these shoes. I walk on asphalt so I can go through shoes pretty quickly. These shoes give me more miles per pair than any others I've tried.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Paragraphs time! I have fibromyalgia but I love to walk all over the place. I was struggling to find shoes that accommodated my lifestyle without compromise, especially when it came to finding a running shoe that would be compatible with my orthotic insoles. These shoes blow me away! I want to live in them, even walk around the house in them! I didn’t realize how much residual aching and pain I was dealing with from walking around until I realized it wasn’t there after wearing these! Such relief! The shoes themselves are rather bouncy, but in a good way because it seems like that’s how they absorb so much of the impact. I got used to it pretty quick. It honestly felt like their structure was encouraging me to maintain proper form while walking and running. Steps feel very fluid, natural, and well-supported. I will say that the tread on these shoes is rather noisy. I noticed I was making some rather annoying sounds on the treadmill at the gym. But most people listen to music and stuff anyway, so hopefully it’s not too much of a bother. Personally I think it’s a microscopic trade-off for the amount of relief I experience from these!

like the extra padding and comfort - feels ver comfortable in the toe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do not usually buy extra cushion running shoes but these Ghost Max 2 have the cushion without looking “gigantic” on the feet of a smaller framed woman. They are light, true to size, and needed little break in. (I will be keeping them.)

Love them but the 10 wide is larger than the last ghost I purchased. I think 9.5 w would be a better fit
