Disappointed 10 year old...

We got this scooter for my 10 year old (he used birthday money to pay for 1/2) and it didn’t last more than a month. The handlebar bent and tilted and couldn’t be straightened. He couldn’t ride it anymore because it wasn’t safe. He’s not big enough or strong enough to do that kind of damage to a metal bar.
