Nice little boat for the kids. Pretty tippy so it does scare the little ones a bit but it doesn't actually tip that easy. The only downfall I would say is there is no back rest.

MUST BUY! I luckily got 2 of these for sale 2 weeks ago and my heart melted at how well my little 7 year old just totes this thing around, tosses it in the water and goes all on her own. Both fit perfect in my little ford edge too so I love that.
They work well in all types of water AND look how cool they look compared to other kid kayaks! :)
I'd buy 4 more if I didn't have to stalk n drive to whichever sportchek closest to me has more lol

6' Kayak weight capacity correction

According to Sport Chek's website, this kayak can hold a kid/person up to 140lbs. That is not accurate. At 120lbs I barely stayed out of the water in this kayak. And as I was balancing precariously on the kayak, I noticed a sticker that said 50kg max (110 lbs). Well, that explained why I wasn't as buoyant as I'd expect in a kayak that was supposed to hold 140lbs!
Great for kids and a community lake. Not a serious kayak. My recommendation would be 100 lbs max.

be very caution that in case kayak flip, ensure in area where feet could reach the water bed so that could stand, extreme caution on turning the kayak and must wear life jacket. if able to unflip the kayak, how to get back on the kayak needs help and attention
