Broke quickly

Carry handle broke taking it to the car after purchase. No manufacturer contact and store was unable to repair. Doesnt bother function which seems alright for my kid. Only has front T handle so not really great to strap down. If you can get it for a good price and dont have far to travel with it it would probbaly work great.

Solid Kids Starter Kayak for a Good Price

This was our first ever kayak purchase. It is sturdy and very easy for my 7 year old to maneuver, right from their first time on the water. With the staggered foot rests they will able to get alot of use from it before reaching the weight capacity. We use a Pelican universal roof top kit to strap it to the roof which works great for us (while our two adult pack-rafts fit in the trunk), so cannot say how it fits in a J-bar system. Have been out several times on both rivers and small lakes and so far don't have any issues, and my child loves it. All around good starter kayak.
