Communication Problem

Ordered this Bike when it was on sale but after assembling it found out the rear wheel was flat. Called into the Steinbach location and told them about my bike issue. They asked if I assembled it by myself in which I responded yes. They said since I assembled it myself it voids my warranty. I argued back because there was no warning nor label stating that my warranty would be voided if I assembled it myself. I called head office and they couldn’t find the statement anywhere as well where the bike warranty would be voided. Apparently it was a store policy and I had purchased this online. They eventually agreed to fix it under warranty after I kept challenging them. Bike is good but dealing with asssistant manager or store policy was a complete turnoff and I am never purchasing a bike from sports check again because of such horrible customer service where I had to fight for my warranty.

Dont bother ordering online

a year ago

I'd love to review the bike but for the second time out of 2 orders, fed ex has lost my purchase. This time delivered to the opposite avenue/street and completely different postal code. And sportcheck CS blamed for having it stolen off my porch. No replacement was offered.
