We all know why we buy this jacket? I had to buy both because they just too clean man I wish the waist was little more thigh with the waist other than that no problem is honestly very warm for the fall and early winter season I gotten so many compliments with them good pieces to have in your closet and good mobility for work while looking nice.

Old vs New

The new Detroit jacket will definitely not last as long as my old one. Still a great jacket though. The original took me a year to get the zipper worked in and the sleeves to bend. It was made of sterner stuff, as they say. I really only bought this one because someone offered me hundreds for the old one. I paid $60 for the original.

This is my second Detroit jacket I bought one ten years ago and its still a great jacket I just needed to purchase a new one in a smaller size since ive lost weight. I will hand my older one down and enjoy my new one at work and long after I retire. I would recommend to anyone looking or thinking about a Carhartt purchase its a tremendous value!
