Great pants ? inconsistent sizing

I really like these pants ? I have 4 pairs of them. My only gripe is that the waist size is inconsistent. All 4 pairs I have are supposedly the same size, but 1 is a little loose, 2 fit perfectly, and 1 is tight. Definitely recommend trying them on before removing the tags.

True to size, great fit! The material is soft and quiet. I expected it would be thicker and tougher. Phone pocket on the side is a bit shallow - enough to worry my phone would fall out while riding a utility vehicle.
