Split after 4 months

The quality is the problem with this catcher. After less than 4 months of regular use it split and required repair outside of warranty. The laced outer catching edge split open about 10cm. The fit and performance otherwise was what I was looking for, but if it can't stand up to a season of play it isn’t worth it. I have been told this is a very common problem for CCM lately.
