The CCM Fitlite helmet features an engineered subshell created for lightweight protection. Designed to help manage multiple types of impacts by integrating CCM’s ground-breaking R.E.D. System to its innovative comfort liner. The CCM Fitlite helmet combines the advantage of a fully customizable lightweight fit with innovation in safety and protection. Scientists indicate that brain injuries and concussions are mainly due to linear and rotational accelerations of the brain. No hockey helmet can prevent or eliminate the risk of head injury, including concussions.

  • R.E.D. System:Liquid filled bladders positioned between the liner and the player’s head developed with Oblique Technology and the University of Ottawa to help manage multiple types of impacts.

  • Liner:Low density flexible EPP with Lycra laminated comfort cushions offers a lightweight high level of protection and a state of the art comfort.

  • Microdial II:Allows a 360o wrap and adjustment for optimal fit and comfort with an occipital lock to best keep the helmet in place during play.

  • Shell:Two-tone high density PE shell with PETG subshell for a lightweight protection with team customizable color.

Nice comfortable helmet that fits well with good adjustability and is lightweight. I did have some issues getting an older Bauer visor to mount onto it. The two middle screws seemed like they were on a slight angle or something making it hard to line up. I took the visor off of my 10yr old ccm helmet that it fit perfectly. I got the helmet for nearly $100 off so I’m pretty happy.

Fits really well. I have a wide head so the regular foam lined helmets usually squeeze and give me a headache halfway through wearing them. The dial on this one helps stop that as it makes it just tight enough. Was worth spending the extra money for that reason alone.

I bought this CCM helmet to replace an old and out of date helmet I used for ball hockey back in 2010... wow what a difference! The fit was perfect right out of the box and I was impressed with the adjustable liner and the overall improvement in comfort, fit and materials.

Very comfortable with really no break-in period. Some helmets put pressure on your temples and first and takes a bit to work in. This one felt good from the start.
