Marsblades 01 Version

My first pair of skates that I finally wrecked were Easton Stealth's back when I was 18 (also bought at Sportchek!) and the technology has changed drastically since then and for the better! 32 now and I decided to go the same route when I was younger and grab the best out there at the time and I was really impressed on the removable tongue technology where my old pair inevitably met its maker so that right there is worth the price tag knowing ill be able to continue rocking these for more than a decade! The one piece composite boot makes these bad boys light as all heck too I ended up mounting the O1 Marsblades chassis to these so the boot being that much lighter really adds to being able to cross over and taking off a breeeeze!

I decided for the first time in my life to purchase this years top CCM skate and not wait for the reduced price next year. I am blown away by the craftsmanship and the phenomenal look of the skate. I am still breaking them in but so far I am excited about the feel of the skate between my feet and the ice. I am slender and decided on the tapered fit. It turned out to be an excellent choice for me. There is no room in the skate around my foot which translates to more bang for my buck with every stride. They dont allow for any foot movement inside the skate so all my energy goes into my stride with no loss of power. It is a wonderful feeling. I am not a great hockey player but what I do well is skate. I have pretty good speed, which, will only get better now. I cant wait until they are completely broken in to see what I will be able to do on the ice.
