CCM SX7000 Practice Intermediate Hockey Socks – 27"

The product is great. Service not so good. I went into the store to purchase because online it said my local store had this item and the unfortunately I couldn’t find anybody working for a while. When I found somebody and ask for my item they causally went to the back came out said hockey items are limited and they didn’t have it. “Try online” was my suggestion. I went online ordered and had to pay extra $10 for same day delivery. Sure enough my item came quickly but it came from the store the associate said they didn’t have it. So I paid $10 extra for something I could have got when I drove in to the store to get myself. Lazy associate rather disappointing experience in service.

I think in my 44yrs of life this is the second review I have ever written but i needed to warn people. This review isn’t about the item but more about the company. As a mother of two boys who are heavy into sports, I purchase 80% of their soccer, hockey, basketball, clothes and shoes at sports check. I have recently ordered these hockey socks along with other items from sports check almost 4-5weeks ago (as they never have stock in the store). I called the company for a return/refund as my items have not been arriving and the tracking keeps changing daily on the delivery status. I’m going to say they have the most unprofessional customer service. The representative spoke to me as if I were on a lower intellectual level as her (I believe her name was Natalie or Natalia). I was told until the item arrives back to the sender I have to 45 days after that to even have a chance of getting my money back. So basically I have to keep calling to see when my item arrives back to the sender and wait 45 days and keep checking for my refund. I have never heard of this nonsense. I then mentioned how I ordered these items for a tournament way ahead of time so they arrived in time and asked if they could ship the item express at no extra cost and she told me that she didn’t know what that meant!!! I then asked to speak to a manager and I believe it was another coworker. I’m promise I am not a conformational person but this is a company taking advantage of people. They don’t care if I go to pro hockey life or Canadian tire because they are all owned by the same company and this is why they take advantage of ppl. My order totaled just over $100 and I will probably never get that money back! I will be shopping at local stores from now on. I hope ppl are aware that company’s thanks advantage!!! .
