Good range even in city and open area. Easy to use even kids can able to use without experience. It has 22 channels so more options to keep line separate from others.

communication difficult

The overall quality of these radios is disappointing. The sound quality is very poor, making communication difficult. The range is nowhere near what is advertised—it only works at a very short distance. The buttons are too small, which makes them uncomfortable to use, and the material quality feels cheap and insufficient. Definitely not what I expected.

Great radio for camping!

These radios are impressively lightweight, making them easy for my daughter to carry around without feeling weighed down. The compact design fits perfectly in her small hands, and the simple controls are intuitive enough for her to use without frustration, even at a young age. The sound quality is crystal clear, allowing us to stay connected across the campsite with no distortion, even in windy or noisy conditions. The 26-km range is more than sufficient for our needs, though we’ve found it performs best in open areas, as expected. The NOAA weather alerts are a great bonus, keeping us informed about sudden changes in conditions, which adds peace of mind. The rechargeable batteries last through a full day of intermittent use, and the power-saver mode helps stretch their life. The included USB-Y charging cable is convenient, though it’s a minor hassle that it only charges two radios at once. Overall, these radios are reliable, user-friendly, and perfect for keeping our family connected and safe while enjoying the outdoors. Highly recommended for camping

Kids got these as a gift. Work great. They take them to the park to play and then radio me to check in. Great range. No static. Smaller size surprised me but perfect size for in a pocket.
