Zipper is useless

After only 2 days, the zipper broke,making it useless. We returned that one and decided to buy another jacket. My son iinsissted we buy the sane one, so we gave it another chance. But again after a week, broken again. Its a great quality jacket besides that, but the zipper needs to be improved. Good breathability and fits well. The insulation is also good, and all of it is waterproof.

Best Uses - ApparelTrail Running, Casual Wear, Hiking, Ski & Snow

Best winter jacket

Probably the best winter jacket out there. I’ve been buying this jacket year after year since my son was little. I just got the last and biggest size that Columbia makes for kids. It’s super warm, not heavy and fully waterproof. I love that the sleeves are extendable which means you might be able to use it for two winters in a row. Granted your kids don’t have a huge growth spurt. I wash it in cold water on gentle cycle (with the fur off) and hang dry. Can’t say enough good things about this jacket. Highly recommend it!

I am so glad with this purchase, got this jacket today, we loved the quality and style, the length is perfect. It’s comfy and super warm. My son can’t wait for the cold season here in NYC.

Watch the zipper

I’ve purchased 3 of these coats. They are warm and a bit longer on the back. However after the first year of use the zipper always breaks down. Columbia did repair the zipper with a full replaced zipper and returned the coat. But a bit of a hassle to go through for warranty. Would be 5/5 if the zipper lasted.

Warm but not true to size

I bought an XL (size 16-18) thinking that my son could wear it for years to come but it was a snug. The XL fits like a medium. The jacket is warm but I would say size up.
