Columbia Boys' Nordic Strider II Insulated Jacket

I am so glad with this purchase, got this jacket today, we loved the quality and style, the length is perfect. It’s comfy and super warm. My son can’t wait for the cold season here in NYC.

Purchased for my Grandson and I was very impressed with the quality of this coat. It is very well made and I am confident that it will keep him warm. The warmth is important to me but, I know he is concerned about how he looks. This coat checks all the boxes. It meets his requirements for style too.

Great quality and very warm, I bought size xs for my 5 years old and fits perfect for this and next year.

Warm jacket, runs a little small we had to exchange the large for the Xl in store for my 12 year old who is very average sized for 12.

I bought an XL (size 16-18) thinking that my son could wear it for years to come but it was a snug. The XL fits like a medium. The jacket is warm but I would say size up.

I’ve bought Columbia for years for my son and was disappointed on how thin this was (same style name as previous too!). I wouldn’t define as parka, more of an outer layer option, but maybe that’s difference between kids size and moving up to youth? Worried how this will fare on longs walks to school in winter. And now that sportchek seems to only carry their ‘partner’ brand I couldn’t see in person before buying. Seems a lot of stores are doing this now so finding a coat was hard this season and not practical for trying to find something adequate for -35. I’ll need to go elsewhere next time if they want to limit in person shopping to one snowboard brand.
