Provides great warmth for a soft shell jacket

I purchased the Ascender jacket in March 2024 so I'm not sure if it was the 2024 or 2023 edition. It's not two tone but solid olive green with black accents. I absolutely love this jacket. The fit is great and keeps me warm in temperatures as low as the upper 30°F range.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Versatile jacket that’s good in rain/wind as well as down to freezing temperatures. Good fit to size. Adjustable cuffs and full zip-up collar mean you can bundle up well. Good number and positioning of zipper pockets too.

Soft shell heaven

I love this jacket. I looked and looked for a replacement to my older NB soft shell, and this Columbia jacket was the best deal. Inexpensive, but more importantly it fits and feels perfect. Even had it out for a hike and it poured and it kept me relatively dry. Better jacket ultimately than my old New Balance.

That jacket was not from Columbia but from another large competitor that rhymes with Worth Space. In any event, this jacket is just as nice and was more economical. I'm very happy with it.
