Columbia Men's Bugaboot Celsius Winter Boots

I purchased this boot based on the quality of the previous boot purchased back in 2022. These boots lasted 2.5 million steps. However this new boot has changed in design. Left boot pinched worse than the right . Boot pinches your feet when you walk. Tried using it to see if it would break-in. Too painful. Decided to return for credit. Not Columbia quality

I purchased this boot in the fall for the winter use. I had boot that was wearing out due excellent service. It was an outstanding design. (Same style of boot}. Foe this boot the design was changed. The "left" boot Is causing major comfort problems. when walking, the boot collapse at the outer edge of the hinge point crushing the arch behind the baby toe area. Tried loosening the laces. Now trying to soften the material with water proofing solvent to see if this will help soften the material. Problem is only on the left boot, at least forme.. Suspect a design or an assembly problem. Past 60 days unable to return. Will not purchase this boot again.

I bought these as my snow boots for Ontario's winter, which is usually cold and not very wet. As a person who walks a lot, I found them to be fairly comfortable. Having had Adidas Terrex Boots that had also a high tongue and ankle enclosure, I do not share the same issues that some have with the boots digging into the shins. They're also fairly comfortable even though they're not the lightest; although, my old Adidas boots were the same wight more or less. The leather quality could have been better; I don't like coated leather as they tend to crack where they bend. These are fairly warm compared to your run of the mill "winter boots". In terms of waterproofing, these are waterproof well; but, waterproofing and breatheability are two different sides of the same coin and as such you would get damp socks on wet days or when you're walking a lot in these. They're not particularly sticky when it comes to ice traction; but, on other surfaces they have enough traction. Overall, these were good purchase thus far with the 50% discount. However, at full MSRP, there are better options out there.

Sent 2 different boots , no response from customer service but they are too busy by email and couldn’t help by phone either

I was looking for winter boots for running, snow shoveling, snow shoeing and daily life. I'm pretty sure it will do better than normal boots.

Fit well. Have purchased this boot before and is a great all around winter snow and walking boot.
