Warm and practical light-weight coat

I’m a big fan of this coat, the third of it’s type that I have owned. It’s very light, yet warm due to the Omni-heat technology. The attached hood is very useful for windy, cold days. It is also stylish and flattering. Good value for the price.

Hard to believe how warm this jacket is!

Combination of durable water repellent (DWR) and wind blocking along with Columbia’s omniheat materials make this jacket outlandishly more capable than its outward appearance would suggest. Snow blowing at -18C feels like -34C last weekend, I was snug as a bug in a rug. Missing? A phone pocket on the right inside, to go with the wallet pocket on the left. That’s a pretty minor gripe. Awesome jacket. Highly recommend.
