Just buy these boots!

These are the best all-round winter boots I've had in years. Warm, comfortable and lightweight. Not bulky and fairly stylish as well. I have a wide foot so I had to upsize by one size. They fit great.
Although I wouldn't call them "waterproof" they are definitely water-resistant. My feet stayed dry even with snow accumulation on the boots. Great traction as well.

As a women with big feet I struggle to no end finding shoes/boots. I wear a men’s size 11 so cute women’s boots are out of the question for me. I wanted something that was lightweight, none clunky but warm as I struggle with cold feet all year long. And somehow seem not overly masculine, yes the struggle is real in my world. These are it! They are very light & warm. Not clunky or awkward. I wear them to & from work, around town & for my walks down our country roads. They are great. They say they are waterproof & I have walked through slushy roads with them, my feet stayed dry but you could feel the cold creeping in to the toes. Overall still a 5 star for me.
Also, I waited forever & they never went on sale then 10 days after buying them they went on sale. I purchased them online, so I emailed Sport Chek & they refunded me the difference no problems.

Fantastic boots!

These boots are fantastic! I was considering buying them a year ago, but found a Chinese no-name on Amazon which was looking like a copy of Fairbanks, ordered them, and returned them right away - there were too soft and the quality was poor. This year, I bought Fairbanks recently and I was amazed of how they are comfortable, warm, and look great.
