Great All Around Purchase

I live in Florida and wear these shorts all the time for hanging out or working out. The are well made and go in the washing machine.

Fits larger than expected so I gave them away. Still a great swimsuit though.

Adjustable belt is the ticket

I wear these fishing mainly and they are great. The built in adjustable belt is the key for me as I can put them on and pull tight and go. I don't want to have to wear sized shorts since I am in between and need a built. Love these and hope they never quit making...about the only company that has this style.

Great shorts/swim trunks. My husband wears these mainly for fishing, he has about 10 pairs. Just need to keep buying new ones because he ruins them!!

Yes, I recommend this product.

I have 8 pairs and wear these shorts almost every day

I live on Hawaii island and wear these shorts almost every day. I bought 6 pairs about 4 or 5 years ago and they are still holding up though faded. I just bought 2 more for “dress up”. BTW- I wish you still made a khaki green color.

Yes, I recommend this product.

The material is medium weight and yet comfortable....use for fishing and would be good for active wear

I purchased an olive color shorts previously. I liked using these when fishing. Both on land and walking the flats the material is robust enough to hold up either when dry or soaking wet. Pockets are adequate with a zippered pocket to hold my car keys.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Perfect Shorts

My husband loves these shorts! After wearing the first pair for one day, he wanted to order two more pairs. So he did. All three pairs fit well and he likes the longer 10 inch length. The material resists moisture and drys quickly. Definitely a winner!

Yes, I recommend this product.

Love these for hiking, hot weather, or just around the house

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After purchasing the Men's Palmerston Peak shorts in early 2020, I liked them so much that I bought two more pairs. They are very comfortable for hanging around the pool or lake, but I also like to wear them in situations where I sweat a lot such as hiking or doing yard work in warm weather. They dry out quickly and the built-in liner eliminates the need for separate underwear. Despite being so comfortable, they look good enough that I can wear them out while running errands and such. The built-in belt is a nice feature, but I found that there was too much excess length on the belt when it was tightened and nowhere to stow the excess. I ended up cutting off about 6" of the belt and re-sewing the end where I cut. Also, as has been mentioned in other reviews, it is CRITICAL that you carefully remove all of the stitching that holds on the product packaging, which is a tag that folds over the waistband. A seam ripper works well for this purpose. This stitching goes right through the belt. If you don't remove every last bit of these threads, the belt can't move freely and won't work right. I really wish Columbia would come up with a better way to package this product. If it were possible, I would remove half a star just for this poor packaging design.

Yes, I recommend this product.
