    Warm, windproof, and Boston-weather ready

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Columbia Men’s Street Heights™ Parka right before a week-long trip to Boston, coming from California with basically zero real winter gear. Boston threw everything at me—strong wind, snow, freezing rain, and that damp cold that cuts right through normal jackets—and this parka honestly saved the trip. The biggest win was how well it blocks wind. Even when it was gusty walking around downtown, I stayed warm without constantly needing to zip/unzip or hunch into my shoulders. In snow and rain, the outer fabric did a great job shedding water, and the insulation kept me comfortable even when the weather got messy and wet. The hood was also clutch—it stayed put and made a noticeable difference when the wind picked up. I also love that it looks clean and city-friendly, not like a bulky expedition coat, but it still performs like a serious winter jacket. Plenty of pocket space, feels well-built, and it layers easily without feeling restrictive. I wore it every day in Boston and never once regretted the purchase. If you’re traveling somewhere cold and want one jacket that can handle wind + snow + rain while still looking sharp, this is it.

This park met my expectations, e.g., room for fleece underneath, warm integrated hood, pockets, adjustable sleeves, etc.

I immediately noticed how much warmer it is compared to my old jacket; this coat actually handles real winter cold. Beyond the warmth, the fit is incredibly comfortable and designed well, allowing for plenty of movement. I especially appreciate that it has enough room to layer comfortably—I can wear a sweater without feeling bulky or restricted.

    Warm, Lightweight, and Truly Waterproof

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Men’s Street Height Parka is impressively warm and genuinely waterproof without feeling heavy or bulky. The fit leaves enough room for a hoodie underneath, and the longer length plus deep pockets make it great for everyday wear in cold, wet weather. The fabric feels a bit light, so I’m careful with it, but overall I’m very happy with this jacket.
