Probably good for light rain

They started out great, not too hot or sticky either in about 5 degree weather, I thought they would be a bit thin but they were good for this. However they were disappointing on the waterproof aspect I was in a heavy downpour for about an hour and at no time sat down during this, but my butt got soaked through to my boxers starting about 2 inches below the top of my boxers. When I got home and took them off I found there was a seam right at the point they were letting water in. In the literature it talks about all the seams being waterproof etc so this was very disappointing since they are not cheap pants.
The rest of the materials around the legs and other seams was good and I never felt wet anywhere else, though I did start to see a little water absorption in my thighs eventually, but I never felt water inside
No, I do not recommend this product.
