Love my new winter jacket;

Received the jacket within the time expected, and just in time for snow shoveling. Jacket is comfortably warm and allows for movement - can't wait to try it on ski hill next!

Replaced old snow's after hard 4th ski season

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ski jacket I’m looking for after 4th ski season. I have a hard ski season with heavy snow, rain and windy frozen. I’m a big fan of Columbia sports and casual. It always fit me right my 6’2” hight and 13 shoe size. I pick a new jacket as my always right choice.

Warmth and feel

This jacket is not warm. You must have base layer midlayer and then this as a shell. I am easily cold however but expected more from this. Its windproof & waterproof is good for this level but not gore tex level. I give it 3.5/5 for that category. The feel zippers and style of the jacket is very nice. Good for cold fall days or if you run hot while skiing/boarding this may be a good budget option. Not upset with this jacket but am disappointed its not as effective as I thought itd be. I say this after wearing the jacket in -3°C with only a base layer underneath.

Quality issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Columbia quality is not what it used to be. As a long time Columbia fan this jacket leaves much to be desired. In the looks and the warmth department they they knocked it out of the park. But the fit and finish is terrible. The main zipper does not work well. The jacket has many unfinished threads hanging off of it. The hood bungees and waist bungees are extra long and bagged out. The sizing is way off. I have worn a large Columbia jacket for 25 years. I ordered a medium in this jacket and it's slightly tight in the body and very tight in the back and shoulder area. I tried on a large jacket and it's very big. It fits more like an traditional XL. It seems like there should be a size between medium and large.
