Columbia Toddler's Tiny Bear™ Insulated Jacket

I needed a lighter weight, more mobile jacket for my 22 month old, as he had hurt himself while wearing another jacket that was super stiff and bulky. This jacket has delivered on that need and seems to keep him warm in up to -5 degrees, give or take. That said, I agree with other reviewers - it runs small and is shockingly short. My son is really small for his age (10th percentile: 21lbs, 31 inches tall) and is always too small for clothes his size. I thought I was taking a risk buying the size he should be (2T), but the jacket ended up being too short and borderline tight around his shoulders…now his back/tummy are exposed every time we lift him or he lifts his arms. I’d still recommend the jacket but wish I had tried a size up.
