My 2 year old is taller than average and I got the 4T based on reviews here. It fits great, looks adorable and is waterproof. Should hopefully last a few years. Lining is fleece but quite thin so i'm not too worried about overheating unless it's an unusually hot day (we live in New England).

Great material, warm enough for chilly rainy days but not overheating if not chilly. My three year old didn’t want to take it off. I ordered a size up just because in the past when I have ordered his actual size the jackets tend to run small.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) My son is wearing 2T in all other clothes but we have this jacket in 2T and it is too short so I purchased the 3T and it fits him perfectly. Be sure to size up in this jacket. It is the best for spring and fall and we love the colours as well!
