Columbia Women's Amazepuff Insulated Winter Jacket

I love this jacket - I do kind of feel like the Michelin man in it, but hey, it's very cozy. I wouldn't say it's great for -20 weather, but maybe for weather between -5 to -10. I would recommend wearing warmers below clothing on days colder than that. On really cold days, you can feel that the hood is detachable, which isn't great. I LOVE the insides of the pockets, they're big and soft. You definitely do not feel bulky in the sense of feeling weighed down. The jacket feels like as a feather and I also do really like the features inside (the backpack straps). The zippers can be a bit annoying but nothing too serious or unsolvable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I first bought this jacket in Tuscan in XXL. I have been wearing it for the past 3 weeks, off and on, depending on how far below 0 we are. It’s kept me pretty warm when I’ve needed it to. As for sizing, definitely think about what layers you’ll have on. Honestly, I didn’t know this ran as big as it did. Typically, I’ve needed an XXL because of how coats fit over my shoulders and midsection. So that is what I bought. It is a little too big unless I am wearing a sweatshirt, which it comfortably fits over. I recently tried on the mid length inside a store and found the XL isn’t too snug, so I chose to order an XL in Rainforest (my second color choice since Tuscan is sold out). It arrived today. It fits much better over a tee. I would almost say the difference in sizing is like a unisex XL and roomy XXL. As for the style and cut, I was very impressed that this is the first winter jacket that I can comfortably wear in the car. Yes, even while driving. The length is perfect and the loft isn’t too bulky with the seatbelt. Most upper midwestern folk know it’s usually too cold during winter to immediately take off your jacket in the car. I got some road salt residue and a little bit of regular dirt on the coat and it wipes off pretty well. And it kept me quite dry when I was out during a snow storm.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm 5 foot 5, 120, and the small fit perfectly. I tried the xs but felt it was too short. I hater when coats go down in size and length. I like my coats longer. The small still had lots of room and felt like a big bear hug.

I love this jacket! I wanted something cozy and warm and this hits all of that. I ordered an XL and it is perfectly oversized for my 34E body.

I was looking for an off white puffer for everyday wear. The colour is just right, and the jacket is soft, warm and comfortable.
