Keeps you dry and warm

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely LOVE this rain jacket. Definitely keeps the rain off, but also keeps the cold out if you zip up and put the hood up. I have the Everblue color, which I love. It has velcro strips to tighten the wrists if you need that, and the hood has a little brim on it to keep the rain out of your face.

Stayed dry

I bought this jacket for my trip to Wales. It rained every day but I stayed dry - this jacket sounds a little ‘crunchy’ when you get it but it was not when you wear it - it withstood the heavy rains & I remained dry!! The only problem was that the Velcro gave out on the left sleeve so I couldn’t tighten it but I will sew it closed. I would still recommend! I bought 2 sizes bigger to accommodate a sweater or sweatshirt although it was warm enough with just the Columbia PFG Tidal long sleeve shirt in 50 degree rainy weather!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When the weather changed for our Portugal trip I needed a rain jacket fast! This jacket exceeded my expectations. It POURED rain on us and i stayed completely dry! The hood and extended visor prevented all rain from getting to my face and hair.I have waist length, super curly, thick hair and this hood kept it all in and dry! the length was perfect and prevented my lower body from getting wet. I sized up from a XL to a 2XL as I wanted room to layer and wear sweaters or sweatshirts underneath. The deep pockets were perfect for extra travel items! I got a whole water bottle inside one! The most important part is it dried of super fast and was ready for the next day of rain! It is packable and folds down to a super small size! I highly recommend this jacket. If it can keep me dry during a relentless, 7 day, Portugal downpour, it will keep you dry most anywhere! BUY IT!

This “snowdrift” color is a light lavender, which I hoped from seeing it online. I own quite a bit of Columbia clothing, jackets, and coats. It’s a quality brand that I can depend on.

Not worth the money

I bought this a month ago to use while commuting this fall and it has Not met expectations at all. The biggest issues are the zippers are constantly stuck on the fabric - both the main zipper and the pockets and the hood is practically useless. The hood only works if there is no wind at all. The second any wind happens it becomes a funnel that just pulls all the rain onto your head, neck and shoulders. No way to tie it down tighter or fit to your head. Rendering the coat pretty useless except for a lightest of sprinkles.
No, I do not recommend this product.

3X smaller than my other Columbia 2X in arms..went a size up to b able to wear a sweater. It's smaller than my other 2X
