Good warmth, light weight & comfortable fit

Have worn for over a week in single digit temperatures for a couple hours each day. Single mid-weight base layer underneath. Its ability to transmit the warmth of the sun to your body is amazing, but the drawback is if you’re not in the sun it’s not quite as warm. I didn’t get cold though. Definitely not a middle of the winter jacket for Alaska. Today was rather breezy but it didn’t get thru the jacket. Wish the hood had cinch cords.

Delightfully light and surprisingly warm!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hot take: I think this jacket is totally underrated. It’s crazy warm for how ridiculously light it is. I grabbed a women’s XS in black (5’6”, 120 lbs, skinny fella reporting in) and the fit is right up my alley. Much better than most men’s cuts on me. Bonus points: it packs down small enough to disappear into the water bottle sleeve on my carry-on, so it’s officially invited on all trips moving forward.

Bought this coat recently, and I love it with the exception that when you have the side pockets open, it will catch and snag the sleeves of the jacket. Otherwise it’s very lightweight and comfortable and the hood is just the right size for protection from cold weather when you have it zipped all the way up.

Surprised Me!

I bought this (in white) for an Alaskan Cruise, mostly for the excursions. Upon arrival, I was very skeptical as it appeared to be very thin and not so well made. It's extremely light weight (now I see that as a good thing). Turns out, the jacket was great. Very warm, awesome for layering. Hood allows room for layering as well. The material feels good to the touch, repels rain. I was highly impressed. Love it.
