It is a wonderful weight for in-between season chilly days and the tightly-woven fleece helps to protect from wind. It will shed water in light rains or drizzle. To me, it is a perfect go to as it is extremely comfortable and nicely-styled to flatter any figure by not looking baggy or too loose. The color is rich, and my experience with Columbia products, it will hold up -- shape, zippers, and colorfast for many many seasons to come! I am thrilled with my purchase to add to my Columbia wardrobe!!
