Stains won’t come out

I bought this in the purple tint a few months ago. I made the mistake of wearing it on a hot day while gardening. There are dirt stains that won’t come out, even though I wash in cold water and drip dry. I have other Columbia shirts with the same poly material that have food stains and won’t come out. I use them for hiking and like them, but am embarrassed at the stains! Your guide to cleaning needs to be updated; or get a better fabric. I won’t buy any more.
