Comfortable but run large

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just got these yesterday so I can’t talk to durability. The material is a little heavier than I thought it would be. The fit is much looser than I thought it would be. I normally wear a large and according to the sizing chart, that’s what size was recommended. I should have gotten a medium but I was afraid they’d be too small in the waist. The waist fit is fine. I like the elastic at the waist. They are huge in the hips and thigh area. Like parachute pants. They are comfortable but only because they’re so big/baggy. I’m 5’7” and got long (not crazy about ankle length pants) and the length is good-just below my ankles but not to the floor.

Caution! Oversized!

I am disappointed that these pants are reviewed as True To Size. They are way too big. I suppose if you look good in paper bag style pants these might be for you I purchased my usual Columbia size (L) and these are very baggy on me. I like the quality, the lightweight fabric and the colors so I had intended to return for a smaller size but they are no longer on sale so I am out of luck.
