Columbia Women's Chill River Midi Dress

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m astonished with the positive reviews. This dress is whisper thin and shows every bump and dimple.

I received this dress today and debating on whether to return it. The thing I don’t like about it is the under layer in the bodice area. It’s NOT a shelf bra so why is it even there? It is the front and the back of the dress. What’s the purpose? When I have the dress on, I can see the under layer right under my bra cups at my bra band. It’s annoying because it interrupts the drape of the dress.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With a few modifications, Columbia, you could knock it out of the park with this dress! I suggest that you: 1). Either make the lining in the bust area longer and tack it down, or take out the lining in the bust area completely. I have two Freezer III dresses and they're fine without the lining. No see-through. Fit smoothly. Or just make the Freezer III dress into a midi dress in tank style, or like the Chill River Midi Dress straps and v-neck front. 2). PLEASE TAKE THE COLUMBIA LABEL OFF THE OUTSIDE OF THE DRESS!! Especially the black dress which could be worn as a dressier dress while traveling in different parts of the world if it didn't have the label or logo on the back or front of the dress.

Drapes but doesn't cling and has a little extra lining in the bodice which is nice. I am 5'2" 125lbs 34D and ordered size M. It's a perfect, flowy fit, more of a maxi length on me but the side slits make it easy to move in. The detail on the shoulder straps really add interest and the poppy color is gorgeous! Perfect red for gals in the autumn or spring color palette. Recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So comfortable and cute, but so disappointed that I will probably have to wear a sweater over it when I wear it to cover up the fairly large font “Columbia” written across the back between the shoulders. More form fitting than the pictures suggest.

Super lightweight, breathable, quick-drying dress. Fabric didn't wrinkle in my suitcase, and it barely took up any room. Comfortable and cute when on!
