Columbia Women's Drifter Omni-Wick UPF 50 Dress

It's a dress, but it's a very comfortable one! Light and flowy, with pockets and alternate length, it looks great, but allows you to move freely without restricting - just perfect for those hot days when you don't want to feel any clothing sticking to you.

Pros. •Amazingly comfortable material. •Super cute cut and style at the bottom •Dress up or down •Pockets •Fun velcro strap I want to hang my sunglasses on. •perfect length. Cons: I read this in other reviews but wanted to see for myself. •The arm holes in this dress are huge. And don’t just sit. If I don’t have my hands in my pockets pulling the dress down to flatten them. They are kind of flaring open. I’m tempted to try to sew them a little smaller but don’t know if I’ll get around to it and or make them restrictive. (If that’s possible.) You can def see your bra and would have to wear a sports one or a tank/something under. Which isn’t even the problem as much as the fact it’s like flaring out open or something. •the pockets angle around to the front. Like in front of your abdomen (think like a center hoodie joined pocket direction). Not a deal breaker but a little different. All in all I really want this dress to work as perfectly as the Leslie Falls dresses that I also got. Very similar in style with a perfect fit! I’m 5’3 138 lbs Slim build About a 38 B

Its lightweight and will be great to wear in hot humid weather...but the arm holes are very large and makes the top of the dress look too big on me. The bottom fits fine. Because I got this on sale at a great price, I plan to keep it, and have a friend alter the top for me.

Love this dress - cool and classy, fun for outdoors and indoors, great for summer fun of any kind.

It has 4 functional pockets! And the side ones are deep though you may ruin the lines of the dress putting too much stuff in them. The fabric feels soft, cool, & comfy. I'm sure I'm going to LIVE in this dress during this summer. I live in TX so our summers are HOT & humid. I got white & thankfully most stains come out with dawn or stain remover & a wee bit of scrubbing. It's also Dad approved for business casual office wear. I work in an office with my Dad & he would tell me if he saw something he didn't like in my outfit. I don't have the arm hole issue that others have. The fabric feels thin but is opaque that I don't feel I need a slip. I've only had it a week but I'm in love with this dress & want alllllll the colors. The white dress gives elegant summery cool vibes imho. For me this is an investment dress. It looks good, is comfy, & is very functional with its pockets, upf protection & moisture wicking & quick drying. I can wear this pretty much anywhere except the most formal affairs. The office, a date, going out with friends. I do wear it with moisture wicking workout shorts underneath. That way I don't have to deal with skin chafing & my shorts have pockets. So I have 6 pockets total for keys, wallet, lipbalm, inhaler, phone etc. I use the "fishing rod holder" to hold my sunglasses when I dont need to wear them. Size is perfect slightly relaxed. It feels high quality & I will wear this until it's falling apart or too stained. Then I'll have it patched or dyed & keep wearing it!
