Columbia Women's Drifter Omni-Wick UPF 50 Dress

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After searching for a comfortable summer dress that I liked, I saw this one advertised on sale. Eventhough it was an online purchase, I decided to try it. The dress fit perfectly, washes well, and it's so comfortable and cool. I recieved compliments when I wore it. I would like to have another one in a different color.

It has 4 functional pockets! And the side ones are deep though you may ruin the lines of the dress putting too much stuff in them. The fabric feels soft, cool, & comfy. I'm sure I'm going to LIVE in this dress during this summer. I live in TX so our summers are HOT & humid. I got white & thankfully most stains come out with dawn or stain remover & a wee bit of scrubbing. It's also Dad approved for business casual office wear. I work in an office with my Dad & he would tell me if he saw something he didn't like in my outfit. I don't have the arm hole issue that others have. The fabric feels thin but is opaque that I don't feel I need a slip. I've only had it a week but I'm in love with this dress & want alllllll the colors. The white dress gives elegant summery cool vibes imho. For me this is an investment dress. It looks good, is comfy, & is very functional with its pockets, upf protection & moisture wicking & quick drying. I can wear this pretty much anywhere except the most formal affairs. The office, a date, going out with friends. I do wear it with moisture wicking workout shorts underneath. That way I don't have to deal with skin chafing & my shorts have pockets. So I have 6 pockets total for keys, wallet, lipbalm, inhaler, phone etc. I use the "fishing rod holder" to hold my sunglasses when I dont need to wear them. Size is perfect slightly relaxed. It feels high quality & I will wear this until it's falling apart or too stained. Then I'll have it patched or dyed & keep wearing it!

Lightweight, classy, comfortable! Love the pockets and overall fit. Can be worn dressed up or down. The material is a little on the thin side, but could be worn with a slip to give it an extra layer or a little more thickness. Overall, I love this so much. I ordered both other colors. I wish they would make this dress in even more colors!!

Have not had chance to use this piece yet. But the fit is great, expecting this to be a go to piece for summer and travel
