Fit Issues

Great jacket all in all. As a woman with wider shoulders, fit is always a challenge! I bought an XL to fit my shoulders and have room for layers, but a size L would be perfect. The XL leaves too much open around the waist and hips. Thankfully, there’s a toggle inside to cinch the waist in, but it’s still too open around the bum and hips.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The coat was a great purchase, very warm for cold conditions. The fit was too big in the waist and was unflattering, however the inside draw strings were a huge help and I was able to cinch it or I would have returned it. I did do my measurements according to the website and was a medium. I would have ordered a small for comparison if there were free returns but my concern for a small is the arm length - the medium arm length is just long enough. I'm 5'5'' and 130 lbs for reference.

LOVE this coat!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this coat. It has all the features I want in a 3 season coat. Very warm, but not bulky. Beautiful while being practical and really comfortable. I needed to replace an old down coat and this one is a big improvement. It has a two way zipper which is a "must have" for me and my long daily commute. The biggest plus are the wrist storm cuffs because I have long arms and my wrists always suffer the cold with most women's jackets because the arms are always too short. And these also have thumbholes! The collar is extended to keep my neck warm and so is the seat to protect my rear which is great for the days I'm wearing leggings. There is also a cinch for the waist to give my a more flattering profile. This is the only area of the coat that I think needs improvement - it would be great if the cinch went around the entire waist. Currently it only cinches half way in the back. The lining is super warm too. All in all I give it a 9.5 out of 10!

I waited for this jacket to go on sale and just purchased it - based on others review I ordered a size up. I usually wear a medium so I got a large. It is very roomy - but I love the jacket and color so I am keeping it!

Lightweight + warm + flattering fit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is far from my first Columbia coat, but it’s my new favorite. The color is gorgeous with a slight shine. There is a hidden interior drawstring to add a flattering shape to the waistline. It’s super lightweight and packable but has the Omni heat warmth I rely on to get me through with just a basic long sleeved tee underneath-no need for a bulky sweater competing for space with all the extra winter weight.
And speaking of winter weight, the “fur” lining on the stand up collar keeps it comfortable against your skin (no issue with the zipper pull poking you), cozily hiding double chins and neck wrinkles better than any filter. 🤣
