Fantastic

I just realized Columbia had long vests, so I bought 3: this one, the Karis Gale and the Heavenly II Long. I like the other 2 better than this one, but I'm extremely happy with all of them. The fabrics, features, components, construction and quality are all top notch. This one has the biggest, boxiest fit - but it's still fine. If I could shorten the length an inch from the shoulder seam, I'd like it better. I'm 5'5" tall, 39", 32", 41" and got a M in all three. I can really feel the omni heat fabric add toasty warmth to this one and the Karis Gale. I don't really feel it in the Heavenly because it has less insulation, but I would probably feel it more during a brisk hike or cross country ski when I'm generating more heat. I haven't used it for anything like that yet. The Karis Gale feels like it has a little more insulation than this, which is soft as a cloud, and the outer fabric is silkier. It also fits me better. I'm still extremely happy with this one. I got the dark purple color and it's my favorite color available out of the 3. I have a few other long vests from other brands and the Columbia are the nicest ones. I a long vest almost every day from fall-spring so now I'll have a little more variety, can wear them literally every day, and these are an upgrade from my older ones.

Not the best vest

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have bought two of these best previously and love them. One for me that I loved so much and I got another for my MIL. I ordered one for another family member this year and it is absolutely not the same or similar.
The previous two were nicely shaped and had drawstring cords on the inside so that you could cinch it around the waist for a more feminine look. The one I bought this time looks like a giant frump square with no drawstring cords. I will be returning this one.
