Columbia Women's Joy Peak™ Insulated Medium Jacket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LOVE this jacket! So soft and warm, not stiff at all. I got the moonvista color which is gorgeous. I wear this jacket when the temps are 40-60 and I'll be outside for a while. Any colder and I tend to opt for my warmer Columbia. Love the big pockets and roomy hood! I could fit an xs but opted for the small for a cozier fit with room for sweaters. I'm 5'2" and 115lb. Bought last year and I assume it will last for many more!

I love this jacket! I am 5’3” and it is pretty long on me. It is about one inch above my knees. The double zipper is really nice especially with the jacket being so long on me. I love that this is light but still really warm. I run on the warmer side, so I get too hot in down insulated jackets and also too thick of a jacket. I have enough room to wear a thick layer under this if I am going to be outside for long periods of time. I also find the extended Sleeves to be a fun feature!

Hood is comfortable and soft, pockets are soft also (which I love). Flattering fit. Very warm and cozy. Website wanted me to get a Small, which is my normal size for Columbia clothes, but I usually go one size up for coats, and the Medium is perfect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the fit of this coat- I have it in another color and wanted to get a plain black one to add to my closet for variety. I'm curvy but in the regular size range, with a bust of 36-38D so it is not always easy to find jackets that fit well across the chest, but this Columbia jacket fits perfectly and comfortably. It is a slim fit for sure but roomy enough for a layer underneath. It fits almost the same as my original one maybe slightly smaller. I really wish that Columbia would do more TONAL logo embroidery on their jackets to match the color of the jacket itself. It would just look a bit more stylish that way- black on black or blue on blue, etc. The white on black logo is a bit loud in my opinion. I wore my original one on a very rainy day and it kept me dry, and its a great in-between season jacket and versatile. I just wish they would make a longer version of this jacket for those very rainy days that goes down past the knees. Also the very bottom part sort of goes in a little- I wish it was more A-Line just at the bottom to make it easier to bend or sit in a car- but I just use the 2 way zip and unzip the bottom a little for that. Its perfect for layering a light sweatshirt underneath for 45-50 degree or so weather, possibly colder but I usually wear when its in the 40s - 50s. The hood lining is a nice cozy touch and the thumbholes are great, plus the zipper pockets easily keep a phone or other small valuables secure.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this warm and stylish jacket, i order the army green that is my favorite color and in medium size, but it's kind a little tight on me, and i need to return it and get the large size. i am lucky to find the size that i want it. it looks great after i received my second order,

I am very happy with this jacket. It is so warm that for someone who is always cold, I was surprised to find find myself toasty warm when wearing it outside on walks with the dog. It is very well made and very good looking. I like having the option of wearing the hood. I ordered the deep blue color and am very pleased with the classy yet casual look. I have worn other Columbia jackets and always found them to be of excellent quality and last a long time. Because the jacket is described for Active wear, I ordered up one size from my usual size Small to a Medium. I can easily add a heavy sweater underneath with plenty of room and still not look like it is too big on me. I would recommend this jacket.
