I took S for my parameters height 162, hips 102, waist 70 - sat perfectly.
The length is ankle length. They do not press and do not hang out. The color is amazing, very comfortable. I'm glad I didn't take a size up.

I like the fabric and style but too bad it is tight for me. I read somewhere that these come big so i thought it might fit me. Anyway giving it away as Christmas present.

Too short for tall folks

I bought these cause I really like the new style. I am going to keep them, but they are too short for me. Not very flattering when you put shoes on, but you can probably get away with wearing sandals in Highwater‘s. I’ll be wearing them around the house instead of out and about town. Other than that well-made, and pretty color. I have a 32/33 inseam, And I’m 5’9”so I realize this is a tall person problem.

Waist runs small

These are comfy and cozy for cooler days, but probably not warm enough for really cold temps. I'm 5'2" so the length is less cropped and more normal length on me, which is fine and one of the reasons I got them. I do have to mention that despite the positive, the waist runs smaller than I anticipated and I wish I got the next size up. The waistband isn't painful, but they'd be more comfortable if I went with a Small instead of XS. I'd already removed the tags by the time I realized this because I was fairly confident in Columbia's sizing that I didn't think I would have an issue.

Nice pants but tight in the waste. I have found Columbia sizes have changed in the last 3 or 4 years. I have size 4 capris and size 6 capris that are exactly the same style and the 4’s are bigger than the 6’s.The new Columbia sizes seem smaller even though my weight is the same.
