These just arrived and they state for the Trail however these are a Great short for sailing! Light weight, comfortable and have a zippered pocket.

I was looking for shorts that were a little long but not too long and not too baggy. With the great fit and cool fabric, these are the best option. I have other Columbia shorts that I've had for years. These are a little different but just as nice and comfortable and will be used for years to come.
