I recently bought these shoes for an upcoming trip this fall to Ireland/Scotland and have been wearing them to "break them in" - Really not necessary! They are so comfy, provide decent arch support and have a wide enough toe box for plenty of comfort. I'm also going to Alaska this summer and plan to take them with me for that trip as well.

Hiking shoes for travel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just bought Peakfreak Rush hiking shoes and I love them! I needed shoes for an international hiking trip and don't have room for multiple pairs. These will do the trick. I walked 5 miles of trails in them, on day one, without any issues. Very comfortable, true to size, aggressive tread for hiking, waterproof for bad weather days, etc.

These are terrific -- very comfortable and very waterproof Since it was pouring rain and I hadn't had any exercise all day I took them out immediately as soon as they arrived and walked 4 miles to test them. My jeans are drenched, LOL, but my feet are completely dry despite all of the puddles and rain. And they are super comfortable. 10/10, would buy again.
