I’m heading on a trip this fall and likely dealing with some rainy weather, so I wanted something that would pack well and wouldn't make me feel like Sasquatch. This jacket is so lightweight and quite cute! The price is fantastic as well!

Not waterproof.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so confused why everyone is saying this is a great waterproof jacket. I'm in the rainy NW and today stood outside saying long goodbyes to friends in front of a restaurant--for about 20 minutes--and was shivering by the end. Got back to my car and my sweater and shirt are soaked through. Had the jacket zipped, buttoned, hood up and it was tied at the waist.
I liked the look of this and got it in black and green and pink, but now I'm disappointed and won't wear any of them if there's a chance of rain.
So bummed.

Do not recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very disappointed in this jacket because it doesn’t keep me dry at all. It soaks up the rain and then I’m soaking wet. When you take the jacket off it’s completely drenched and everything else around you is getting wet because it’s just drenched with water. This jacket literally had one job and failed miserably. I’ve never had to write a bad review about the products I’ve purchased, but I don’t recommend this jacket if your intention is to stay dry.

Not a raincoat

I’ve owned this for a year. Unlike the earlier versions of the Pardon My Trench jackets, this is not suitable as a raincoat. The first time I wore it in a decent rain. I was soaked. It has a nice cut, but is more of a light wind breaker. Please, Columbia, bring back the real raincoat version of this jacket with snaps at the sl. It was my favorite.

Nice all-occasion jacket that looks good on city outings or on walks in the country or hiking. Love the longer length. Lightweight and packable for travel. Really great looking jacket! I will wear it whether it's raining or not!

I love this jacket. It has great ventilation, which is a must if it’s over 60 degrees outside. Keeps me dry. I love the styling. Sort of a hybrid look that can be sporty or also work appropriate. I will buy more colors. And thanks for the plus sizes! Columbia always runs a hair small compared to other plus sizes. I’m usually a 1X, but bought the 2x in this and it fits perfectly.

I tried 3 jackets and this is the perfect one for me. Longer than some, nice feel, rain resistant. I haven’t had the chance to try it out yet but am packing for our south trip.
